Classification of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provision of the said Act.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY—LUMSDEN RECREATION RESERVE

11.8472 hectares, more or less, being Sections 1 to 6, Block XXIII and Sections 1 to 10, Block XXIX, Town of Lumsden, situated in Block I, Hokonui Survey District. All New Zealand Gazettes, 1894, page 1164 and 1950, page 7. S.O. Plan 1327.

Revocation of the Reservation

PURSUANT to section 107 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby give notice that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for the purpose of the State Coal Mines.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Takapuna City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
