The Traffic (Hobson County) Notice No. 1, 1982 Defining the Middle Line of Part of the Hawke’s Bay Pipeline,
Takapau Station to the Hastings Receiving Station in the District
of Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay District, and Hastings City

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport PURSUANT to section 71 of the Petroleum Act 1937 the Minister
hereby gives the following notice. of Energy hereby declares that the middle line of part of the
Hawke’s Bay pipeline shall be the line set out in the Schedule hereto
and further declares that this notice shall affect only the land situ-
ated within the limits of the areas marked on the plans referred to
in the said Schedule.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hobson County) Notice
No. 1, 1982.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section
52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to
regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the
31st day of October 1950†, which relates to an area within Hobson
County at Te Kopuru is hereby revoked.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the
31st day of March 1967‡, which relates to roads within Hobson
County at Baylys Beach is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Hobson County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 22nd
day of October 1971§ and the Traffic (Hobson County) Notice
No. 1, 1974 dated the 1st day of October 1974¶ and the Traffic
(Hobson County) Notice No. 2, 1977 dated the 27th day of Sept-
ember 1977† issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act
1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956 are hereby
revoked.
