Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

South Auckland Land District—Thames-Coromandel District

1.3658 hectares, more or less, being Section 24, Block I, Hastings Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1982, page 1696. S.O. Plan 51734.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (gravel) reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Financial Services Regulations

Notice is given of Decision 69 of the Commerce Commission, dated 11 August 1982. This decision relates to an appeal made in terms of the provision of the Financial Services Regulations by the Sydenham and Suburban Co-operative Money Club against the decision of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in declining to approve an increase in the club's first mortgage lending rates. By this decision the commission declined the club's appeal.

The full text of the decision is available for inspection at the commission's offices, Sixth Floor, Chase-NBA House, 163 The Terrace. Copies may be purchased on application to P.O. Box 10-273, Wellington.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the Proprietor of the following secondary school:

St Paul's College, Richmond Road, Ponsonby, Auckland 2.

The said school will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 9 August 1982. Copies of the integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Hurunui—Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hurunui Licensing Committee on 26 May 1982 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Royal Hotel, Woodend.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock on the morning of New Year's Day.
