Notification of the Intention to Prepare a Management Plan

Pursuant to section 41 (5) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Director-General of Lands hereby gives notice of the intention to prepare a Draft Management Plan for the Auckland Islands Nature Reserve.

Persons or organisations wishing to make submissions or suggestions for consideration in the preparation of the draft plan, should make them in writing to the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, Private Bag, Wellington, before 21 October 1982.

Classification of Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for local purpose (site for a kindergarten), subject to the provisions of the said Act.
