The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 4541/Supplement No. 2 Fully hydraulically calculated design. Gratis.

DZ 4541 Automatic fire sprinkler installations (together with Supplement No. 1) was released for comment in June 1981.

This draft is basically an entire new section that deals with sprinkler installations that are fully calculated. This new section is intended to provide both specific rules and also a greater degree of general guidance than is usual. The material is largely based on draft proposed amendments kindly made available by the FOC.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Priviac Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 31 October 1982.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 6108 Electricity supply substations in consumers’ buildings. Gratis.

This draft standard is intended to provide a uniform basis for agreement between parties concerned with electricity supply and building design.

The standard will specify the building accommodation requirements for an electrical substation incorporated in a building in order to supply the electric power requirements of that building, and possibly of one or more adjacent buildings when required by the local Electrical Supply Authority.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
