Cancellation of Registration as a Teacher

PURSUANT to section 135 (1) of the Education Act 1964, the name of

Graeme Raymond Hancock

has been removed from the Teachers Register and his teacher’s certificate and registration have been cancelled.

Hop Marketing Committee Election (No. 2866, Ag. 60546)

PURSUANT to clause II of the Schedule to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of 5 producers’ representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz; Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington, and at Nelson; also at the following Post Offices, viz; Motueka, Upper Moutere, Wakefield and Nelson.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 21 July 1982.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Nelson.


Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on 8 September 1982.

Insurance Companies Deposits Act 1953—Proposed Release of Deposit

The London and Overseas Insurance Company Limited has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on any class of insurance business in New Zealand, and pursuant to section 19 of the above-mentioned Act proposes to withdraw the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that being satisfied that the liabilities of the above-mentioned company in respect of the classes of insurance designated in the First Schedule of the above-mentioned Act have been provided for, he proposes to release to the above-mentioned company on or after 19 August 1982, the deposit made by it in respect of all classes of insurance business.

Any objections to the release of the deposit should be lodged with the Public Trustee, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on or before 14 August 1982.
