Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at
Licensed Premises—East Coast Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as
amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment
Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice,
hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee,
on 24 June 1982, made an order authorising variations of the
usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as
the Albion Club Hotel, Gisborne.

To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public in respect of the River Bar, the
hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall
be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
(not being Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)—
Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at
10 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday and Christmas Eve—Opening
at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock
in the evening.

(c) On any New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the
morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock on the morning
of New Year's Day.

In respect of all other bars excluding the Public Bar:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
and Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

In respect of the Public Bar:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and
closing at 8 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

premises known as the Bond Street Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and
closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning
and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

The Water Recreation (Mohaka River) Notice 1982

I, Beryl Ann Ranger, Acting Senior Executive Officer (Har-
bours and Foreshores), pursuant to the Water Recreation
Regulations 1979*, and in exercise of powers delegated to me
pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport
Act 1968, hereby give the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation
    (Mohaka River) Notice 1982.

(b) This notice shall come into force 14 days after its
publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in
force until further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule
    hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a), 7 (1) (b), and 7 (2) shall not
    apply to that area as specified in the First Schedule from
    1 October of any one year through to 28 February of the
    following year.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area of water of the Mohaka River from Willow
Flats Bridge, upstream to the Pakaututu Bridge.

SECOND SCHEDULE

  1. Notwithstanding any other provision of this notice, no
    person who is permitted by any such provisions to propel or
    navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding
    5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger
    or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water,
    or fishing, or undertaking any recreational activity in the
    vicinity of the small craft.

  2. All persons in charge of a vessel shall adhere to and
    keep the provisions of all Acts and Regulations not specifically
    exempt by this notice.

  3. A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional
    Marine Officer, Ministry of Transport, Wellington, shall be
    erected at sites deemed necessary by the Regional Marine
    Officer.

Change of Name of the Te Araroa Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby declares that the reserve for recreation purposes,
described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Te
Araroa Recreation Reserve, shall hereafter be known as the
Matakaoa Recreation Reserve.

SCHEDULE

Gisborne Land District—Waiapu County

6.2018 hectares, more or less, being Section 33, Te Araroa
Maori Township, situated in Block IX, East Cape Survey
District. All certificate of title 2D/1047 (M.L. Plan 1312).
Subject to right of way created by Court Order 4603 and
water and pipeline rights created by transfer 90051.

Dated at Gisborne this 7th day of July 1982.

Vesting a Reserve in the Waiapu County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule
hereto, in the Waiapu County Council in trust for recreational
purposes.

SCHEDULE

Gisborne Land District—Waiapu County—
Matakaoa Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown
Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule
hereto, to be classified as a reserve for local purpose (site
for an aerodrome), subject to the provisions of the said Act.
