EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice replaces the Shipping (Construction Fees) Notice 1982. The changes are—
(a) The fees payable for the attendance of a Surveyor during the construction of ships in New Zealand are no longer payable where a certificate of survey or safety certificate is to be issued:
(b) Those fees are reduced by between 70 and 85 percent.
Subdivision of Land by the Wellington Harbour Board
I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) of the Harbours Act 1950, the subdivision of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Wellington Harbour Board pursuant to section 143B of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land Registration District, being Lot 3, on Deposited Plan 26447, and more particularly shown on the plan allocated number 50752 by the Land Transfer Office, containing 9742 square metres, and being part of the land described on certificate of title D3/41.

Privileges and Immunities of Representatives and Their Staff Attending the XIIIth Meeting of the South Pacific Forum—August 1982
WHEREAS a meeting of the South Pacific Forum is to be held in Rotorua on 9 and 10 August 1982.
And whereas this meeting will be attended by representatives of the Government of New Zealand and representatives of the Governments of other States:
And whereas it appears that doubts may arise as to the privileges and immunities which may be enjoyed by representatives and members of their official staffs attending the said meeting;
Now therefore pursuant to section 11 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968, the Minister of Foreign Affairs hereby directs that every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) and the members of their official staffs attending the said meeting shall be accorded the following privileges and immunities:
(a) Every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on a diplomatic agent; and
(b) All the members of the official staff of any such representative shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on members of the diplomatic staff of a diplomatic mission.
