CITY OF WAITEMATA
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD IN THE CITY OF WAITEMATA

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata City Council proposes to take under the Public Works Act 1981, the land described in the Schedule to this notice.
The land is required for road and it is intended to use the land for the construction of a by-pass between Lincoln Road and Universal Drive.

REASONS FOR TAKING LAND

THE reasons why the Waitemata City Council considers it essential to take the land are as follows:

(a) The land will be used for a road in compliance with the council’s district scheme and the route planning for this area.

(b) The road is important as a link between Lincoln Road and Swanson Road, which are two major distributor roads, and to serve the large and growing residential areas of Lincoln, Massey and Ranui.

(c) The routes at present carrying the traffic for which the road is intended are inadequate for this purpose in terms of both design and location and also constitute a traffic hazard.

RIGHT TO OBJECT

THE land has not yet been taken.

Objections may be made to the taking of the land.
Any person wishing to object must send an objection in writing to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, so as to reach the Registrar on or before Friday, 13 August 1982.

If an objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector gives written notice to the Tribunal that it is desired that the hearing be held in private.

Any person making an objection—

(a) Will be advised of the time and place of the hearing; and

(b) Will have the right to appear and be heard personally or to be represented by a barrister and solicitor or any other person authorised by the objector.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 4221 square metres, situated in the City of Waitemata, being part Lot 10, D.P. 670; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 56351, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the High Court of New Zealand dated the 29th day of April 1982, confirming the reduction of the share capital of the above-named company from $42,000 to $21,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 5th day of July 1982. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

The amount of share capital of J. P. Gamble Limited as altered by the order of the High Court confirming the reduction of the share capital of the company is $21,000 divided into 21,000 ordinary shares of $1 each and at the date of registration of this minute the amount of $1 is deemed to be paid up on each share.
