- FERTILISER
47.1 Minimum wagon loads
Wagon loads of artificial fertiliser or manure, and raw materials for manufacture thereof (but excluding liquid fertilisers and manure) shall be charged at class R rates subject to the following minimum wagon loads:

47.2 Minimum charge
Any less quantity than the minimum wagon load shall be charged at such minimum or at the actual weight at class E rates plus 50 percent, whichever is cheaper.
47.3 Handling, etc.
The Corporation may require all loading, unloading, covering or tallying to be performed by the owners. Where loading, unloading, covering or tallying is performed by the Corporation, charges as in clause 58 shall apply.
- HAY, STRAW, AND CHAFF
48.1 Wagon rates: Hay and straw (baled) and chaff shall be charged at the following wagon rates or on the actual weight at the class E rate plus 50 percent, whichever is cheaper:
48.1.1 Per La wagon ... ... ... ... Class M rates.
48.1.2 Per four wheeled wagon not otherwise specified ... ... Class M rates plus a third.
48.2 Handling, etc.
The Corporation will not undertake to load, unload, or cover traffic conveyed under the above provisions.
