43.5 Small lots

43.5.1 Charges: Cattle, calves, sheep, pigs, horses (including ponies and foals), or goats carried loose in small lots shall be charged at the wagon load rate, or if cheaper (provided the consignee does not require the exclusive use of a wagon) at the following rates:

43.5.2 Owner's risk: The foregoing rates are at "limited carrier's risk" and will be reduced by 2 percent where consignors require that the consignment be carried at "owner's risk".

43.6 Livestock in crates

Calves (not exceeding six months old), sheep, pigs or goats properly secured in crates so as to prevent damage to other goods shall be charged as follows provided that where the exclusive use of a wagon is given the provisions of clause 21.7 will apply.

Minimum loads of goods chargeable at class N rate shall be as follows:

Except where otherwise provided, any less quantity than the minimum wagon load prescribed shall be charged at such minimum, or on actual weight at the following rates, whichever is cheaper:
