Definition of Mines Rescue Station Area Section 236 (5) of Coal Mines Act 1979
PURSUANT to section 236 (5) of the Coal Mines Act 1979, the Minister of Energy hereby defines the Rescue Station areas as follows:
(a) Inside a Rescue Station Area—All mines that are underground, opencast working coal previously mined by underground methods, or opencast mines within 50 km of a Rescue Station.
(b) Outside a Rescue Station Area—All opencast mines outside 50 km of a Rescue Station.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5425: Part 1/A1 Draft amendment to NZS 5425: Code of Practice for CNG compressor and refuelling stations—Part 1:1980 On site storage and location of equipment.
This draft amendment alters the requirements of clause 5.2.2 on safety relief devices.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 26 March 1982.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the draft New Zealand standard specifications listed in the Schedule hereto are being circulated. All persons who may be affected by these specifications and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies at the prices shown from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing dates for the receipt of comment are shown in the second column of the Schedule.

This draft specification prescribes requirements relating to the production of ready mixed concrete at a batching plant off the construction site to its delivery and testing. It deals with the following grades of production:
(a) Special grade.
(b) High grade.
(c) General grade.
DZ 3104 is a revision of NZS 2086:1967. | 30 May 1982 | $5.00
DZ 3108 Site mixed concrete production
This draft specification prescribes requirements relating to the production of concrete at a batching and mixing plant located on or adjacent to the construction site and to its testing. The establishment of plant for site mixed concrete is generally of a non-permanent nature intended to service only the needs of specific works of limited duration. The standard is in three parts. General clauses are in Part 1. Part 2 sets out the requirements for the following grades of production:
(a) Special grade.
(b) High grade.
(c) High grade without a performance record.

DZ 3110 Factory mixed concrete for precasting work
This draft specifies the requirements for manufacture and testing of concrete produced solely for precast concrete, including precast prestressed concrete. | 30 May 1982 | Gratis
