Declaring Land and Road Acquired for Railway Purposes at Frankton and Te Rapa

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981, section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and all other powers enuring under that Act, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes, from and after the 10th day of June 1982.

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 2, 1982

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 2, 1982.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1981, dated the 16th day of December 1981†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County at Tapawera:

Kowai Street.
Matai Crescent.
Rata Avenue.
Tawa Place.
Totara Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimea County at Tapawera:

No. 61 State Highway (Motueka-Motupiko): from a point 20 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the Tadmor-Tapawera Road to a point 980 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the Tadmor-Tapawera Road.

Disposal of Northland Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) of the said Act, the disposal by way of the sale of land referred to in the First and Second Schedules hereto by the Northland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof and is subject to the condition that the land is sold at market value.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of North Auckland containing Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on Deposited Plan 54147 being part of Section IV of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei, part of Allotment 1, Parish of Whangarei, and part Section 3, Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, totalling 1490 square metres, and being part of the land described on certificate of title 6B/1232.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of North Auckland, being Lot 3, Deposited Plan 68826, and part Lot J of Section 3, Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, totalling 9411 square metres, as described on certificate of title 25A/286.
