Declaring Land in Otago Land District, Vested in the Southland Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, The Honourable Sir David Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—QUEENSTOWN BOROUGH

Firstly, 2396 square metres, more or less, being part Section 1, Block XVI, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'B' on S.O. Plan 19720. Part certificate of title A1/72.

Secondly, 826 square metres, more or less, being Section 14, Block XVI, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'C' on S.O. Plan 19720. All certificate of title 66/8.

Thirdly, 834 square metres, more or less, being Section 15, Block XVI, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'D' on S.O. Plan 19720. All certificate of title 232/191 Limited.

Fourthly, 1087 square metres, more or less, being Section 9, Block XVIII, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'E' on S.O. Plan 19720. All certificate of title 68/260.

Fifthly, 860 square metres, more or less, being Section 2, Block XVIII, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'F' on S.O. Plan 19720. All certificate of title 45/120.

Sixthly, 869 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, Block XVIII, Town of Queenstown. Shown marked 'G' on S.O. Plan 19720. All certificate of title 87/287.

Hawera Gas Company Limited—Retail Gas Supply Authorisation

At the Government House at Wellington this 3rd day of May 1982

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 20B of the Gas Industry Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Hawera Gas Company Limited supplying gas by retail in the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

THAT area within a radius of 15 kilometres from the Hawera Post Office, but excluding all those consumers supplied with gas by the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Limited as at the 30th day of April 1982.

East Coast Gas Supply Limited—Retail Gas Supply Authorisation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 20B of the Gas Industry Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to East Coast Gas Supply Limited supplying gas by retail in the area described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

(a) The Counties of Wairoa and Hawkes Bay, the boroughs of Wairoa and Havelock North, the Districts of Waipawa and Waipukurau, and the cities of Napier and Hastings, which together were declared to be a region for the purposes of section 20B of the Gas Industry Act 1958 by notice dated the 2nd day of April 1982 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 April 1982, No. 41, page 1175:

(b) That part of the Manawatu region consisting of the counties of Dannevirke, Woodville, and Pahiatua, and the boroughs of Dannevirke, Woodville and Pahiatua.

Notifying the Appointment of One Member to the Electrical Registration Board

THE Minister of Energy hereby notifies the appointment of John Brian Howarth as a member of the Electrical Registration Board for the purposes of the Electrical Registration Act 1979.

Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Papua New Guinea

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint

Timothy James Hannah

to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Papua New Guinea under and for the purposes of the Foreign Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 28th day of April 1982 and ending with the 27th day of April 1985.

Approval of Qualified Persons for the Purposes of Section 402 (5) of the Companies Act 1955

PURSUANT to section 402 (5) of the Companies Act 1955, I hereby appoint
