Declaring Land Taken for Road in Block IX, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Lower Hutt City Council from and after the 21st day of January 1982.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Tuapeka County Council and hereby proclaims that the road, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby closed and that the road firstly described in the Second Schedule shall, when so closed, be incorporated in deferred licence No. DPF 414, recorded in register book No. 5B/98, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Archibald James Scorgie of Lee Stream, sheep farmer (½ share) and Archibald James Scorgie of Lee Stream, sheep farmer and Annie Elizabeth Scorgie of Lee Stream, married woman (½ share), subject to mortgage No. 533814/2 affecting the half share interest of Archibald James Scorgie and Annie Elizabeth Scorgie only, the road secondly and thirdly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when so closed, be incorporated in deferred payment licence No. 418, recorded in register book No. 5B/102, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Archibald James Scorgie of Lee Stream, sheep farmer (½ share) and Archibald James Scorgie of Lee Stream, sheep farmer and Annie Elizabeth Scorgie of Lee Stream, married woman (½ share), subject to mortgage No. 533814/2 affecting the half share interest of Archibald James Scorgie and Annie Elizabeth Scorgie only, the road fourthly and fifthly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when so closed, be incorporated in deferred payment licence No. DPF 415, recorded in register book No. 5B/99, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Archibald James Scorgie of Lee Stream, sheep farmer, and that the road sixthly, seventhly, eighthly, ninthly and tenthly described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when so closed, be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.
