Declaring Land Taken Together with a Right of Way, for the Use, Convenience or Enjoyment of a Road in the City of Whangarei

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with the right of way created in and by conveyance No. 119780 (R40/141), for the use, convenience or enjoyment of a road, and shall vest in the Whangarei City Council, from and after the 21st day of January 1982.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Tuapeka County Council and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto and declares that the road firstly, secondly, thirdly, sixthly and ninthly described in the Second Schedule when so closed, shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948, and that the road described fourthly, fifthly, seventhly and eighthly described in the Second Schedule, when so closed shall be added to the adjoining land held as an endowment in aid of borough funds described in the Third Schedule hereto.
