The Road Classification (Horowhenua County) Notice No. 1, 1982
PURSUANT to Regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Horowhenua County) Notice No. 1, 1982.

The Horowhenua County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notices dated the 15th day of November 1950† and the 20th day of October 1970‡ which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY
Roads Classified in Class One
ARAPAEPÆ Road: from Queen Street to Kimberley Road.
Hokio Beach Road: from the Levin Borough Boundary to a point 660 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
Kimberley Road.
Mako Mako Road: from the Levin Borough Boundary to a point 695 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
Opiki Road: from No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon) to the Manawatu River.
Tararua Road: from the Levin Borough Boundary to Arapaepae Road.

Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
PURSUANT to section 195 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Gear Meat Production Supervisors-Foremen-Sub-Foremen-Board Walkers and Quality Control Inspectors Guild, Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 2264, situated at 50 Adelaide Street, Petone, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—King Country Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the King Country Licensing Committee on 8 March 1982, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club, known as the Manunui Club Incorporated.
To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Advertising the Taking of a Census: Section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 31 (5) of the Statistics Act 1975, notice is given that a Census of Natural and Manufactured Gas (1982) which has been approved by the Minister of Statistics, is being undertaken by the Department of Statistics.
The census will cover all classes of undertakings listed below:
All establishments, the predominant activity of which is that of manufacturing and distributing gas, or the distribution of natural gas, plus the ancillary units (head offices, etc) which service or predominantly service those establishments, i.e. all establishments classified to Major Division 4, Group 4102, Fuel and Power of the New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification.
It is the duty of the person in charge of each undertaking of any of the above classes who has not received a questionnaire within 21 days after the date of this advertisement to inform the Government Statistician that such an undertaking exists.
