Secondly, all that area in the Taranaki Land District, situated in Block X, Ngaere Survey District, containing 16.6221 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of part Section 10 and proceeding northerly, easterly and southerly along the western, northern and eastern boundaries of that part section to the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12456; thence westerly along that boundary to the left bank of the Manga-wharawhara Stream; thence south-westerly generally along that bank to the northern side of Clifford Road; thence westerly along that side to the point of commencement.

The Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order 1982

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 8th day of March 1982

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 43 (4) of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority is entitled to exercise all the powers, authorities, and discretions vested in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960: And whereas the said Auckland Regional Authority has petitioned the Governor-General that certain land be included in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District; Now, therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


FIRST SCHEDULE
Cl. 2

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Waitemata, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 8, D.P. 56335, in Block VI, Titirangi Survey District, and being on the boundary of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Inner Area as described in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 and proceeding southeasterly generally along the southwestern boundary of Part Lot 83, D.P. 20226, to its intersection with the western side of Scenic Drive; thence southerly generally along that roadside to its intersection with the northern side of Waima Road; thence westerly generally along that last-mentioned roadside for a distance of approximately 110 metres to its northernmost point; thence northerly along a right line perpendicular to the southern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 56335, to that southern boundary; thence easterly generally along the aforesaid boundary of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Inner Area to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, in Blocks X and XI, Waitemata Survey District, containing 39.6100 hectares, more or less, being Part Bed of Waitemata Harbour as shown marked A and B on S.O. Plan 53338.

Now therefore, pursuant to section 8 of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Order (No. 2) 1982.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1982.

  2. Inner Area extended—The boundaries of the Inner Area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District are hereby altered so as to include the land described in the First, Second, and Third Schedules to this order.

  3. Determination of financial obligations—The financial obligations and assessment under the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 of the Waitemata City Council with respect to the land described in the First and Second Schedules to this order, and of the Manukau City Council with respect to the land described in the Third Schedule to this order shall be determined on and from the 1st day of April 1982.


FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, City of Waitemata, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 35, D.P. 20025 in Block VI, Titirangi Survey District and being on the boundary of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District Inner Area as described in the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960 and proceeding south-easterly along a right line across Scenic Drive to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 54666 in Block VII, Titirangi Survey District; thence south-easterly, easterly and north-westerly along the south-western, southern and north-eastern boundaries of that Lot 1 to its northernmost corner; thence easterly along the southern side of Scenic Drive to the northernmost corner of Lot 2, D.P. 54666; thence north-easterly and westerly
