7.5.2 Fares: Fares for season tickets on long distance rail passenger services shall be as follows:

7.5.3 Rail suburban services: Monthly season tickets will be available on suburban services at charges as set out in clause 8.

7.6 Young people's season tickets

7.6.1 Conditions and concession: Season tickets at four fifths the rate for monthly season tickets will be issued to persons whose age at the commencement of the availability of the ticket is under 20 years for use on rail suburban services and for distances not exceeding 113 kilometres on all long distance rail passenger services except the following:

7.6.2 Application: Application in the following form shall be lodged within a reasonable period prior to the time the ticket is required for use and the birth certificate shall be produced for inspection endorsed with the applicant's signature:

7.7 Special tuition

7.7.1 Conditions: Season tickets, available for travel over any distance not exceeding 100 kilometres and for three months from the date of commencement of their availability for travel, will be issued to bona fide students attending classes conducted by music teachers registered under the Music Teachers Registration Act 1928, or such other tuition (including business college classes) as may be approved by the Corporation. The tickets will be available for use only when the holder is travelling between home and the class. If used for any other purpose the ticket will be forfeited. The days upon which tuition will be received must be stated on the certificate. The tickets will be issued subject to a roll of attendance open for inspection by any employee of the Corporation being kept at each school or class.

7.7.2 Certificates: Certificates in the prescribed form, signed by the teacher, must be produced when applications are made for tickets under this section.

7.7.3 Fares: Special tuition season tickets shall be charged as follows:

For pupils under 17 years of age … … … … $15.60

8 SUBURBAN RAIL FARES

8.1 Tickets and services

Single, ten trip and monthly season tickets at the prescribed fares will be issued for travel between all stations inclusive on any one of the following suburban services between:

Auckland and Waitakere,
Auckland and Papakura via Waterfront,
Auckland and Papakura via Newmarket,
Papakura and Henderson via Newmarket,
Wellington and Melling,
Wellington and Upper Hutt,
Wellington and Johnsonville,
Masterton and Maymorn, and between these stations and any other station between Upper Hutt and Wellington inclusive,
Dunedin and Mosgiel.
