Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's Reserves Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. (a) This notice may cited as the Sacred Heart Girls College, New Plymouth Board of Governors Notice 1982.

(b) This notice shall come into force on 18 February 1982.

2. The Board of Governors of Sacred Heart Girls College, New Plymouth, shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Education Board of the district of Taranaki;

(b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;

(c) Five members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;

(d) Four members appointed by the proprietor of the school.

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land firstly described in the Schedule hereto and also the general land secondly described therein is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae, urupa and meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Ngariki Hapu of the Ngatihina tribe.
