National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 November 1982 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Oamaru to Kakanui section, for half its width on the southern side across the frontages of Lots 1, 2 and 3 of D.P. 17093 (certificates of title 8c/1411, 8c/1410 and 8c/1412 respectively), as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 70/3/69 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Minister of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Classification and Naming of Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Otiori Scenic Reserve.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Takapuna City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserves in the Takapuna City Council in trust for that purpose.
