Land Held for a Workers Hostel Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for State housing purposes.

ALL that piece of land containing 2083 square metres, situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District, being Section 1339, Town of Wellington; as shown on S.O. Plan 32984, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington.

Amending a Declaration Declaring Land Taken, Subject to Certain Rights, for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Kapiti

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 26th day of January 1979 and published in Gazette, 8 March 1979, No. 17, at page 508; declaring land taken, subject to certain rights for State housing purposes in the Borough of Kapiti, by omitting the following words, “Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land firstly described in the said Schedule to sewer rights (in gross) and storm water drainage rights (in gross) granted by Transfer No. 232370.3, for State housing purposes, from and after the 8th day of March 1979”, and substituting the following words:

“Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land firstly described in the said Schedule to sewer rights (in gross) and storm water drainage rights (in gross) granted by Transfer No. 232370.3, Wellington Land Registry; subject as to the land secondly described in the said Schedule to stormwater drainage rights (in gross) granted by Transfer No. 232370.3, Wellington Land Registry; subject as to the land thirdly described in the said Schedule to sewer rights (in gross) granted by Transfer No. 232370.3, Wellington Land Registry and stormwater drainage rights (in gross) granted by Transfer 232370.3 (Wellington Land Registry) for State housing purposes from and after the 8th day of March 1979”.

Land Declared to be Road, Road Stopped and Land Taken in Block V, Komakorau Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Waikato County Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and further declares the stopped road, now known as Allotment 357, Komakorau Parish shall vest in Colin Henry Whittington of Morrinsville, farmer.

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto to be taken under section 119 (1) and vested in The Waikato County Council.

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the 25th day of November 1982.
