Revocation of Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Excluding Part of Land From a Maori Reservation

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated 3 February 1964, pub-
lished in Gazette, 13 February 1964, No. 7, page 182, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, was
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a village
site and meeting place, for the common use and benefit of
the Waikato tribes; and whereas it is proposed to exclude a part
of the said land from the said Maori reservation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) (a) of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953, that part of the said reservation
containing 280 square metres, as shown marked U on S.O.
Plan 51592, is hereby excluded from the said Maori reservation.

Notice of Exemption of Certain Motor Vehicle From the
Requirement to be Fitted With Interior Door Handles

NOTICE

PURSUANT to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations
1976* and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the
Secretary for Transport, I, Glen Liversage, Assistant Chief
Automotive Engineer, hereby exempt from the requirements
of regulation 82 of the said regulations the motor vehicles
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ANY motor vehicle designed exclusively for the carriage of
prisoners and which is operated by the Police or Justice
Departments, or Her Majesty’s Forces, provided that means
of exit from the prison compartment is included and which
is capable of being released by a Departmental or Forces
officer from inside the vehicle in an emergency.
