(n) (i) One member who shall be a student of the Bay of Plenty Community College and who shall be appointed by the Bay of Plenty Community College Students’ Association to a term of office of one year;
(ii) The member appointed pursuant to subparagraph (i) of this paragraph shall hold office from the first day of February until the 31st day of January in the subsequent year, and if on that date the appointment of a successor has not been notified to the Council, that member shall continue to hold office until the date on which that appointment is notified; and
(o) Not more than three members to be co-opted by the Council itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. (1) Subject to the provisions of this clause and the provisions of clause 3 (n) and clause 3 (n) (i) of this notice, the members of the Bay of Plenty Community College Council shall hold office for a term of three years but may from time to time be reappointed or re-elected.
    (2) Every co-opted member of the Council shall be appointed for such terms not exceeding three years as the Council thinks fit.
    (3) Except in the case of a casual vacancy or as otherwise provided in this notice every member except the member appointed pursuant to clause 3 (n) (i) of this notice shall hold office until the 31st day of March in the third year after the year of appointment or election, and if on that date the appointment or election of a successor has not been notified to the Council, that member shall continue to hold office until the date on which that appointment or election is notified.
    (4) If any member dies or resigns office by giving written notice addressed to the Council or the Chairman or Secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from the meetings of the Council for three consecutive months, or while holding office becomes ineligible to remain a member by reason of disability, insolvency, neglect of duty, or misconduct, the casual vacancy so created shall be filled, as soon as it is practicable thereafter, by the appointment or election of a member in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed or elected and the member appointed or elected to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the residue of the term of office of the member whom that person replaces.

  2. The powers of the Council shall not be affected by any vacancy in the membership thereof.

  3. The Tauranga Community College Notice 1981* is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

THE eastern and western county ridings of the Tauranga County Council referred to in paragraph (c) of clause 3 of this notice shall be the following:

SECOND SCHEDULE

The secondary schools referred to in paragraph (d) of clause 3 of this notice shall be the following:

PURSUANT to the Commerce Act 1975, I, Craig Alexander Rickit, pursuant to a delegation from the Secretary of Trade and Industry, hereby make the following price order:

PRELIMINARY

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 257 and shall come into force on the 11th day of November 1982.
  2. (1) Price Order No. 246 is hereby revoked.
    (2) The revocation of the said order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this order.
  3. In this order:
    The expression “C and F” means “cost and freight”.

APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER

  1. This order applies to the following steel products manufactured by Pacific Steel Limited:

Hot Rolled Steel Bars

  1. Rounds
  2. Squares
  3. Flats
  4. Angles
  5. Channels

MAXIMUM PRICES TO BE CHARGED

  1. (1) The maximum factory selling prices that may be charged or received by Pacific Steel Ltd. for any steel products to which this order applies shall be the basis price shown in this order, with adjustments in the form of extras as specified hereunder being made as appropriate.
    (2) The maximum prices, as aforesaid, are fixed for deliveries as follows:
    (a) Within radius of 65 kilometres of Otahuhu, free on truck at mill.
    (b) “C and F” railhead, Whangarei, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Gisborne, Napier, Hastings, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Masterton, Lower Hutt, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch and Invercargill.
    (c) Landed on wharf or at railhead, where applicable, at Picton, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, Nelson, Greymouth, Dunedin, and Bluff. (Wharfage to seller’s account.)
    (d) For sales to other areas, the approved maximum selling prices may be surcharged with the amount which does not exceed the freight chargeable for transport of steel from the nearest freight paid point mentioned above.

(3) The maximum basis price shall be $633.88 per tonne and shall apply to reinforcing bar made in conformity with New Zealand Standard 3402 P: 1973, grade 275 and angles, channels, flats, squares and rounds made in conformity with British Standard 4360: grade 43A, or 43A1.
(4) The basis price shall cover the following sizes:
Rounds 20 mm diameter and over
Squares 12 mm to 75 mm
Flats } All shapes and sizes not included in 6 (1)
Angles { below.
(5) The basis price shall cover lengths from 5 m to 10 m.
(6) The basis price shall cover orders 4 tonnes and over in one size, thickness or diameter, in one quality to one destination.
