Declaring Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Featherston
Now Set Apart for State Housing

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, subject to the Housing Act 1955, for State housing purposes as from the 11th day of November 1982.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—FEATHERSTON BOROUGH

ALL that piece of land described as follows:

719 Lot 24, D.P. 15328, being all the land thirdly comprised and described in Gazette, 1956, p. 918, Proc. 5577.

Situated in Block III, Wairarapa Survey District.

Declaring Railway Land at Otaki to be a Road and a Service Lane

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and sections 114 and 136 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares as road and vests in the Otaki Borough Council the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto, and as service lane and thirdly described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of land described as follows:

891 Part Totaranui No. 1, 11F Block being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 77/162, marked C on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 33442 (S.O. 33329), deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington, and thereon marked as above mentioned.

THE following certificate has been executed on the sealed copy of the Paparua County Bylaw 1982 made by the Paparua County Council on 2 November 1981 and confirmed on 15 December 1981.

CERTIFICATE OF CONFIRMATION

IN pursuance of the Bylaws Act 1910, I hereby confirm the Paparua County Bylaw 1981 and declare the same came into force on the 15th day of December 1981 except insofar as those aspects which relate to the use of animal traps in rural areas of the district which came into force on the 24th day of August 1982, and those aspects which relate to fire safety and fire prevention which came into force on the day specified below.

Bay of Plenty Community College Notice 1982

PURSUANT to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice shall be cited as the Bay of Plenty Community College Notice 1982.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  2. There shall be a board of governors to be known as the Bay of Plenty Community College Council which shall control the Bay of Plenty Community College.

  3. The Bay of Plenty Community College Council shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Tauranga City Council;
    (b) One member appointed by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council;
    (c) Two members, appointed by the Tauranga County Council, one to represent the interests of eastern county ridings listed in the First Schedule to this notice, and one to represent the interests of western county ridings listed in the First Schedule to this notice;
    (d) One member elected by the governing bodies of the secondary schools listed in the Second Schedule to this notice;
    (e) One member appointed by Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Bay of Plenty Province) Incorporated;
    (f) One member appointed by the Tauranga Moana District Maori Council;
    (g) One member appointed by the Fruitgrowers’ Associations listed in the Third Schedule to this notice;
    (h) One member appointed by the Council of the University of Waikato;
    (i) One member who shall be resident in the area served by the said Community College appointed by the Kaimai Trades Council;
    (j) One member who shall be resident in the area served by the said Community College appointed by the Auckland Provincial Employers’ Association Incorporated;
    (k) One member who shall be the principal of the Bay of Plenty Community College;
    (l) One member who shall represent the staff of the Bay of Plenty Community College who shall be elected by full-time tutors and full-time ancillary staff employed by the Council and who shall also be a full-time tutor employed by the Council;

Provided that the current member shall hold office until the 31st day of March 1984 and if on that date the election of a successor has not been notified to the Council that member shall continue to hold office until the date on which that election is notified;
