Kapuni to Wellington Natural Gas Pipeline Duplication—Wanganui Loop—Notice of Application

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the Natural Gas Corporation of New Zealand Limited has applied to the Minister of Energy for a pipeline authorisation to construct the above pipeline for the conveyance of natural gas. The pipeline will pass through various properties along the route which has been pegged in the field and is known to the property owners concerned. Generally the route follows the existing Kapuni to Wellington pipeline.

The route is also shown on plans accompanying the application, copies of which are available from the Pipeline Project Office, Ministry of Works and Development, P.O. Box 12-184, Wellington North.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Masterton Licensing Trust

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 76 (1), (2), (3) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1980, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that Judge B. J. McK. Kerr on 1 October 1982, made an order consenting to variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Horseshoe Tavern, Masterton; the Homestead Tavern, Masterton, the Pioneer Tavern, Masterton, and Kuripuni, Masterton.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

On any Friday, Saturday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Manawatu Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Manawatu Licensing Committee on 30 September 1982, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered Club known as the Dannevirke Services and Citizens Club Incorporated.

To the intent that on days other than those on which Chartered Clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 09.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 5, 1982.

  2. It is hereby declared, as requested by the National Roads Board, that the State Highway as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 13th day of June 1980† which relates to the classification of the highway described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.

THE 3-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls, with the chassis number T16043 and a 1200 cc Volkswagen engine, number 2285299, manufactured in 1982 by James Rowe Evans of Glen Eden.

PURSUANT to regulation 90B of the Traffic Regulations 1976* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7) and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Trevor Alan Lister, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the components listed in the Schedule hereto for inclusion in any CNG fuel system installed and operated in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 2, 1980 (and any standard made in amendment thereto or in substitution therefor).
