Consent to the Distribution of New Therapeutic Drugs

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Food and Drug Act 1969, the Minister of Health hereby consents to the distribution in New Zealand of the new therapeutic drugs set out in the Schedule hereto.

Waipawa District—Waipukurau District Boundaries Definition Notice 1982

WHEREAS, by notice dated 3 May 1982, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 6 May 1982, No. 50, page 1515, the Secretary for Local Government purported, pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, to define the boundaries of Waipawa District and Waipukurau District following boundary alterations between the two districts by Order in Council made on 12 October 1981, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 October 1981, No. 122, page 2909;

And whereas that notice was not correct in that it contained an error in the descriptions of the boundaries of Waipawa District and Waipukurau District; and whereas it is desirable that that notice be revoked:

Now therefore, pursuant to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government hereby revokes that notice and hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Waipawa District-Waipukurau District Boundaries Definition Notice 1982.

2. The boundaries of Waipawa District and Waipukurau District are hereby defined as set out in the Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF WAIPAWA DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 1,354 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of a right line between Trig Station 30 (Aorangi) in Block XI, Pukeokahu Survey District (Wellington Land District), and the Makaroro River and the Makaroro Stream in Block IX, Wakarara Survey District, and the summit of the Ruahine Range in Block I, Wakarara Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along that right line to the said confluence; thence easterly along a right line to the northernmost point of Section 1, Block XI, Wakarara Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundary of that section to and down the middle of the Mangamaku Stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Block I, Gwavas Crown Grant District; thence northerly generally to and along that boundary, the western boundaries of Block V, again Block I and Block III, all Gwavas Crown Grant District; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of that Block III and its production to and down the middle of the Mangaonuku Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 7, Block X, Marae-kakaho Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block XIV, Maracakaho Survey District, and along the north-eastern boundaries of that section to the north-western side of Te Onepu Road, along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XV, Maracakaho Survey District, part Lot 29, D.P. 4416, and Lot 5, D.P. 5103, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of No. 2 State Highway; thence southerly generally along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1 D.P. 7614; thence easterly to the south-western corner of the said Lot 1; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Block 86, Patangata Crown Grant District to and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Block 14, Patangata Crown Grant District, to its easternmost corner; thence south-easterly along a right line to a point on the north-western side of Racecourse Road in line with the middle of Homewood Road; thence south-easterly generally to and along the middle of Homewood Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 15798; thence southerly generally to and along that boundary and the western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 15798, to the north-western side of a public road, along a right line to and again along that western boundary to the northern side of Pourere Road; thence westerly along that roadside to a point in line with the north-western side of Walkers Road; thence south-westerly to and along that roadside and its production to the middle of the Tukituki River; thence up the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Tukipo and Makaretu Rivers and the Maharakeke Stream to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Takapau Survey District; thence north-westerly generally to and along the south-eastern and the generally north-eastern boundaries of Section 5, aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence south-westerly
