State Forest to be made part of Lake Summer Recreational Hunting Area
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Wild Animal Control Act 1977, the Director-General of Forests hereby gives notice that the area of land being 1872.5000 hectares, more or less, and described as Rural Section 41383 and forming part of the Lake Summer State Forest Park north of the Hope River as shown on plan L32/4, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service, Wellington, and with the Conservator of Forests, Christchurch, shall form a recreational hunting area where the hunting of red deer and chamois as a means of recreation shall be used to control (though not exclusively) the number of those animals.
The area will become part of the Lake Summer Recreational Hunting Area.

No commercial hunting is allowed, except for the taking of possums under Forest Service permit, or on the direction of the Conservator of Forests.

The greatest care must be exercised at all times with fires. Fires shall be permitted only in huts, camps, or fireplaces provided or built expressly for that purpose. All fires must be in safe places and properly extinguished before being left.
Only dead wood should be used for fuel. Any person responsible for fires getting out of control may be held liable for damage caused and for expenses incurred in firefighting in addition to any fines imposed.
The extent and location of any wild fire is to be reported immediately to a forest officer.

Reservation of Land
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for Government purpose (wildlife management) purposes.

Vesting a Reserve in the Wairarapa Catchment Board

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school:
St. Joseph’s School, Ludstone Road, Kaikoura.
The said school will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 29 September 1982.
