Land and an Interest in Land Acquired for the Waharoa-Apata (Kaimai Deviation) Railway in Block V, Aongatete Survey District, Tauranga County and Block X, Wairee Survey District, Piako County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the interest in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty The Queen by Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Co-operative Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland, and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 71, folio 110, South Auckland Land Registry, are hereby taken for the Waharoa-Apata (Kaimai deviation) railway and shall vest in the Crown on the 30th day of September 1982.

PURSUANT to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development:

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the parts of road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped, and further declares that the said stopped road firstly described (now known as Allotment 592, Waiotahi Parish, Block I, Opotiki Survey District) shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 4B/1319, subject to caveat 144907.1, and the stopped road thirdly described (now known as Allotment 594, Waiotahi Parish, Block I, Opotiki Survey District) shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 118/44.
