Amending a Declaration Acquiring Land for Road and the Purposes of a Road in Blocks V and VI, Awakino East Survey District, Waitomo District

PURSUANT to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 24th day of June 1982, published in Gazette, 1 July 1982, No. 72, page 2013, declaring land acquired for road and the purposes of a road in Blocks V and VI, Awakino East Survey District, Waitomo District, by omitting the piece of land situated in Block V, Awakino East Survey District, being part Lot 1, D.P. 10309, containing 5269 square metres fourthly described in the First Schedule thereto and substituting the piece of land described in the following Schedule.

Leasehold Estate Acquired for the Purposes of a Road in Mackenzie County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held from Her Majesty The Queen by Hugh Hunter-Weston of Lake Tekapo, sheepfarmer, Gillian Mary Hunter-Weston of Lake Tekapo, married woman, and Alan James Hubbard of Timaru, chartered accountant, under and by virtue of pastoral lease No. P 38, recorded in Volume 529, folio 86, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby acquired for the purposes of a road on the 16th day of September 1982.

Declaring Road to be Government Road and Stopped and Part to be Crown Land and Part to be Added to Land Held for Defence Purposes in Mackenzie County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development—

(a) Pursuant to section 124 declares the portions of road described in the First Schedule hereto to be Government road; and

(b) Pursuant to section 116 stops the said road; and further

(c) Pursuant to section 117, declares that the stopped Government road firstly and secondly described in the First Schedule hereto shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948, and declares that the stopped Government road thirdly described in the First Schedule hereto shall be added to the adjacent land held for defence purposes and described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Land Acquired for Road in the City of Takapuna
