LPG Fuel System Approvals
PURSUANT to regulation 90B of the Traffic Regulations 1976* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7) and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Trevor Alan Lister, Senior Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the components listed in the Schedule hereto for inclusion in any LPG automotive fuel system installed and operated in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 1, 1980 (and any standard made in amendment thereto or in substitution therefor).

MOT Reference Description
AF L07 003 “Nikki” brand LPG shut off valves manufactured by the Nihon Kikaki Seisakusho Company of Japan and bearing the model designation “SB 10” and the fluid identification “LPG”.
LPG REGULATORS AND VAPORISER/REGULATORS
AF L08 008 “N’kki” brand LPG vaporiser/regulators manufactured by the Nihon Kikaki Seisakusho Company of Japan and bearing the model designation “268078-341 9 x 03”.
LPG MISCELLANEOUS VALVES AND FITTINGS
AF L10 002 “Nikki” brand LPG filter units manufactured by the Nihon Kikaki Seisakusho Company of Japan and bearing either of the model designations “9-11” or “9-10”.

PURSUANT to regulation 90F of the Traffic Regulations 1976* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 7) and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Robert Norman Abram, Chief Automotive Engineer, hereby authorise
George Cameron McLean (M.I.M.H.),
as an authorised person in relation to alternative fuel systems of the type
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
