Land Acquired for River Control and Soil Conservation
Purposes in Blocks X and XIV, Wairarapa Survey District,
Featherston County
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for soil conservation
and river control purposes and shall vest in The Wairarapa
Catchment Board on the 2nd day of September 1982.

the Borough of Onehunga
PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the
Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for the purposes of
the Fire Service Act 1975, and shall vest in The New Zealand
Fire Service Commission on the 2nd day of September 1982.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 690 square metres, situated
in the Borough of Onehunga, and being part of Allotment 1
of Section 38 of the Village of Onehunga. All certificate of
title, Volume 591, folio 316, limited as to parcels.

Declaring Railway Land at Riccarton Now Set Apart for
State Housing Purposes Subject to a Height Restriction
PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways
Corporation Act 1981 and sections 52 and 236 of the Public
Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand
Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described
in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart, pursuant
to the Housing Act 1955, for State housing purposes, subject
as to that part of the land as is described in the Second
Schedule hereto, to a height restriction as is described in the
Third Schedule hereto, from and after the 2nd day of
September 1982.

Situated in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L.O. 33311 (D.P. 45100), deposited in the office of
the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington, and
thereon marked as above mentioned.
THIRD SCHEDULE
Nature of Height Restriction Imposed
The New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby prohibits
absolutely the siting of any tree, shrub, hedge, building,
tower, hoarding, fence or other structure on the land de-
scribed in the Second Schedule hereto in any case where the
height thereof exceeds 19.40 metres above the Christchurch
Drainage Board Datum.

Certificate of Approval of Bylaw
PURSUANT to section 684 (1) (37) of the Local Government
Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government, having con-
sulted with the Minister of Forests and the Minister of Agri-
culture, hereby approves section 8, clause 28, of the Paparua
County Bylaw 1981, made by special order at a meeting of
the Paparua County Council on 2 November 1981, and
confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the council held on
15 December 1981, insofar as it relates to the setting of
placing of animal traps of the spring-jaw or gin-trap type.
