(3) In terms of section 29 (5) of the Act, to impose as a condition to this approval that the members of the association notify the commission of any change made to the fee payable by the participating life assurance companies not later than 14 days after the implementation of any such change.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following primary school:

St Brigid’s, Bayfield Road, Tainui.

The said school will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975 with effect from 18 August 1982.

Copies of the integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Determination of the Comptroller of Customs, Section 21, Sales Tax Act 1974

I, Patrick John McKone, hereby give notice that, for the purposes of section 21 of the Sales Tax Act 1974, I have determined that the sale value of the goods enumerated below shall be in accordance with section 21 (2) (d) of the Sales Tax Act 1974.

Goods
13. Goods classified in Tariff Headings 85.13 to 85.19, and 85.21 of the Customs Tariff.
14. Goods classified in Tariff Heading 92.11 of the Customs Tariff.
15. Stoves and ranges, electric, of a domestic type only.
16. Gas furnaces, gas heaters, gas water heaters.
17. Power operated lawnmowers.

The determination of the Comptroller of Customs, section 21, Sales Tax Act 1974, gazetted on page 2717 on 19 August 1982, is hereby consequently amended by omitting the words

“11. Radio broadcast receivers and television broadcast receivers, etc., of Tariff Item 85.15.001.”

Nothing contained in this notice shall limit the application of any other section of Part IV of the Sales Tax Act 1974.

New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement—Application for the Approval of Goods as Determined Imported Materials—Notice 1982/5

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to Australia for the approval of the goods, described in the Schedule hereto, as determined imported materials in accordance with Australian legislation relating to the rules governing the origin of goods “wholly manufactured”.

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to New Zealand supporting these applications should do so in writing on or before 30 September 1982.

Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of the goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington, for the attention of the Director, Trade Division, and be supported by information as to the quality, range, supply, etc., of the goods or suitable alternative goods produced in New Zealand.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

DZ 6703 Code of practice for interior lighting design. $10.

This draft code deals with the design of interior lighting, taking into account both natural and artificial lighting, and relates the lighting to energy use. The code also covers the maintenance of lighting systems and the measurement of illuminance and luminance. It is a revision of NZ CP 22:1962.
