The Maori Option Notice 1982

PURSUANT to section 41A (2) of the Electoral Act 1956, the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Maori Option Notice 1982.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  2. Period for exercise of Maori option—The period of 2 months during which, in 1982, any Maori may exercise the option given by section 41 (1) of the Electoral Act 1956 shall be the period beginning on the 1st day of March 1982 and ending with the close of the 30th day of April 1982.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the Proprietor of the following primary schools:

St. Bernadette’s, Hei Hei Road, Hornby.
Our Lady of the Snows, Ashburton Road, Methven.

The said schools will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 2 February 1982. A copy of the integration agreement for each school is available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Building, Wellington.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education and the Proprietor of the following secondary schools:

St. Paul’s High School, Rathray Street, Dunedin.
St. Peter’s College, Kakapo Street, Gore.

The said schools will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 1 February 1982. Copies of the integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Building, Wellington.
