Otago Polytechnic Notice 1976, Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to section 69 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Otago Polytechnic Notice 1976, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Otago Polytechnic Notice 1976* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
    (2) This notice shall come into force on its date of publication in the Gazette.

  2. Clause 3 of the principal notice is hereby amended by deleting paragraph (o) and substituting:

"(o) One member who shall represent the staff of the Otago Polytechnic, and who shall be nominated and elected by the full-time employees of the Council and who shall himself be employed by the Council."

Recognised Continuing Education Organisation

Pursuant to section 97A of the Education Act 1964 (as inserted by section 13 of the Education Amendment Act 1976), the Minister of Education declares the continuing education organisation specified in the Schedule hereto, to be a recognised continuing education organisation.

Privileges and Immunities of Representatives and Their Staff Attending the Meeting of the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General—February 1982

Whereas a meeting of the Standing Committee of Attorneys-General is to be held in Queenstown on 15 February 1982.

And whereas this meeting will be attended by representatives of the Government of New Zealand and representatives of the Governments of other States.

And whereas it appears that doubts may arise as to the privileges and immunities which may be enjoyed by representatives and members of their official staffs attending the said meeting.

Now therefore pursuant to section 11 of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968, the Minister of Foreign Affairs hereby directs that every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) and the members of their official staffs attending the said meeting shall be accorded the following privileges and immunities:

(a) Every representative of the said Governments (other than the Government of New Zealand) shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on a diplomatic agent; and

(b) All the members of the official staff of any such representative shall be accorded the privileges and immunities conferred by or by virtue of Part I of the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunities Act 1968 on members of the diplomatic staff of a diplomatic mission.

Ashburton Borough Council Bylaw Confirmed

The following certificate has been executed on the sealed copy of the bylaw whereby the Ashburton Borough Council has adopted Amendments No. 12 and No. 13 to the New Zealand Standard Model Building Bylaw, Chapter 5, Fire Resisting Construction and Means of Egress. This bylaw was made by the Ashburton Borough Council on 5 October 1981, and confirmed on 2 November 1981.

Pursuant to section 25 '(2)' of the Milk Act 1967, the Minister of Agriculture hereby gives the following notice:

  1. '(1) This notice may be cited as the Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980, Amendment No. 9.

  2. This notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of September 1980.

  3. The First Schedule to the Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980 (as substituted by the Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980, Amendment No. 6) is hereby revoked and the Schedule to this notice is hereby substituted therefor.

  4. The Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980, Amendment No. 8*, is hereby consequentially revoked.
