Land Taken for Road in Block XV, Patutahi Survey District, Cook County

DAVID BEATTIE, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Cook County Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of February 1982.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XV, Patutahi Survey District, containing 986 square metres, being part Lot 4, D.P. 2348. All certificate of title 3A/685.

The Wanganui River Scenic Board Waters Control Order 1975, Amendment No. 1

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of January 1982

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 8a of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

  1. (a) This order may be cited as the Wanganui River Scenic Board Waters Control Order 1975, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed a part of the Wanganui River Scenic Board Waters Control Order 1975* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

(b) This order shall come into force 14 days after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. The principal order is hereby amended by inserting in the First Schedule the following paragraphs:

"All those waters of the Ongarue River, extending upstream from the confluence of the Wanganui River and the Ongarue River to the State Highway No. 4 bridge as more particularly shown edged red on plan M.D. 16042, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington."

"All those waters of the Retaruke River, extending 700 metres upstream from the confluence of the Wanganui River and Retaruke River as more particularly shown on plan M.D. 16043, deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington."

The New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Name Order 1982

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of February 1982

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS section 33 (1) of the Companies Act 1955 provides that where it is proved to the satisfaction of the Governor-General that an association about to be formed as a limited company is to be formed for promoting commerce, art, science, religion, charity, or any other object useful to the community, and intends to apply its profits, if any, or other income in promoting its objects, and to prohibit the payment of any dividend to its members, the Governor-General may by Order in Council direct that the association may be registered as a company with limited liability, without the addition of the word “Limited” to its name: And whereas it has been proved to the satisfaction of the Governor-General that an association about to be formed as a limited company with the name “The New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists” is to be formed with its objects being among those specified in the said section 33 (1), and intends to apply its profits, if any, or other income in promoting its objects, and to prohibit the payment of any dividend to its members:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 33 of the Companies Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Name Order 1982.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  1. “Limited” dispensed with—It is hereby directed that the association about to be formed as a limited company with the name “The New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists” may be registered as a company with limited liability, without the addition of the word “Limited” to its name.

Appointing a Deputy to a Member of the Water Resources Council

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Johannes Barteld Seye Huizing, an officer of the Ministry of Works and Development, as deputy to Peter Forsyth Reynolds,

to be deputy member of the Water Resources Council from and including the date of this appointment.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 26th day of January 1982.
