Revoking Declaration of State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway

PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State Highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked, and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State Highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that section of State Highway No. 2 superseded by the new Mangaroa Bridge and its approaches, from R.P. 931/14.10 (Plateau Road) to R.P. 946/0.40, as declared by notices published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, No. 20, p. 384, and 3 December 1970, No. 78, p. 2390.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that section of public highway from R.P. 931/14.10 on State Highway No. 2 (Plateau Road) via the new Mangaroa Bridge and its approaches to rejoin State Highway No. 2.

National Roads Board: Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway No. 10, Waitangi River and Waipapa Road section as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to 4 of plan L.A. 11/34/1, and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei, and there available for public inspection, it is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 15 July 1981 and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 15 November 1978* made pursuant to the said Section 4, insofar as it affects that part of the limited access road declaration for half its width on the western side across the frontage of part Lot 2, O.L.C. 60 (certificate of title 500/207).

National Roads Board: Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 October 1981 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1, Waipu to the junction with S H 12, for half its width on the south-eastern side from the point of junction of the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 92031 (C.T. 480/216) with the highway and extending southwards, for 400 metres across the frontage of the said Lot 1 and part Allotment 5, D.P. 16127, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1, Plan L.A. 11/17/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Whangarei and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaration of Vehicle With Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

THE 3-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls and a 1200 cc Volkswagon engine bearing the engine number 1896453, manufactured by Mr Alan Wareing of Greymouth.

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the Schedule hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

THE 3-wheeled vehicle with motorcycle controls and a 150 cc Triumph engine, bearing the chassis/frame number T150VTG03610, manufactured by Mr Graeme O’Brien of Blenheim.
