Appointment of the Bay of Islands Maritime and Historic Park Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland, hereby appoints the Bay of Islands Maritime and Historic Park Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes.

Definition of the Purpose of a Reserve

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block VI, Russell Survey District

PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Bay of Islands County Council pursuant to the said section 323 and as from the date of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Manukau City Council on 29 March 1979:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land, held by the said City in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a reserve for local purposes (site for a public carpark and toilet facilities) within the meaning of the said Act.”
