Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Nelson Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Nelson Licensing Committee on 22 June 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Star and Garter Hotel, Nelson.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

During the period 1 November to 31 March and pertaining to the lounge bar only:

(a) On any Thursday and Saturday (not being New Year's Eve) and on Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.

(b) On any New Year's Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o'clock on the morning of New Year's Day.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1981, No. 7.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

The Road Classification (Rotorua District) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Rotorua District) Notice No. 1, 1981.

  2. The Rotorua District Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The notice dated the 12th day of December 1980† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.
