Aparima College Committee of Management Notice 1981

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Education (Committees of Management) Regulations 1981, the Southland Education Board hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Aparima College Committee of Management Notice 1981.
   (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1981.

2. The Committee of Management of Aparima College shall be constituted as follows:
   (a) One member appointed by the Southland Education Board;
   (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
   (c) Eight members elected by the parents of students attending the school.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highways to be a Limited Access Road

IN the notice with the above heading published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 May 1981, No. 67, page 1515, refers Statc highway No. 1 (Awamui-Bluff) for “The eastern boundary of part Sections 2 and 14, Block II, Moeraki S.D. (near Rivermouth Road) read “The eastern boundary of part Section 2 of 14, Block III, Moeraki S.D. (near Rivermouth Road).

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE of the intention of the Examiner of Commercial Practices to report to the Commerce Commission on a merger or takeover proposal.

Whereas, pursuant to section 68 of the Commerce Act 1975, I have received notification of a merger or takeover proposal whereby Ballins Industries Ltd. would acquire the wholesale wine and spirits division of Dalgety New Zealand Ltd. and the total shareholding in Phillips and Pike Ltd. owned at present by Dalgety New Zealand Ltd.;

And whereas I formed the provisional view that the proposal is likely to be contrary to the public interest;

And whereas in accordance with the provisions of section 69 of the Act, I have notified the participants of my intention to report on the matter to the Commerce Commission;

Now therefore, remaining of the provisional view that the proposal is contrary to the public interest, I give notice of my intention to report to the Commerce Commission on the proposal after full investigation in terms of section 74 of the Commerce Act 1975.
