Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at East Coast—East Coast Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the East Coast Licensing Committee on 18 June 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Kawa Kawa Hotel, Te Araroa.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows during the period from the 1st day of April and the 30th day of September (both days inclusive) in every year:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Thursday, Friday, and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Statutory Holidays—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

During the period from the 1st day of October and the 31st day of March (both days inclusive) in each year, the hours for opening and closing for the said premises shall be as follows:

(d) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(e) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(f) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee on 25 June 1981 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Forester’s Tavern, Christchurch.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee on 25 June 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Wheatsheaf Tavern, Teddington.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock on New Year’s Day.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 26 June 1981, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered Club known as the Auckland University Club Inc.

To the intent that on days other than those on which Chartered Clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1981, No. 14.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
