to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along

(Porangahau Beach):

Te Pacrahi Beach Road: from its eastern end to a point
50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said
road from Makaramu Street.

SITUATED within Waipukurau District at Waipukurau:

All that area (except those portions of roads included in the
Second and Third Schedules hereto) bounded by a line com-
mencing at a point on the western side of Racecourse Road,
50 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road
from Lakeview Road; thence easterly, generally, by a right
line to a point on the western side of the No. 52 State highway
(Waipukurau-Masterton via Porangahau) 50 metres measured
southerly, generally, along the said highway from Lakeview
Road; thence easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on
the western side of Tavistock Road, 500 metres measured easterly,
generally, along the said road from Ferguson Avenue; thence
northerly, generally, by a right line to the eastern end of
Francis Drake Street; thence due north by a right line to the
northern boundary of Waipukurau District; thence westerly,
generally, along that boundary to a point due north of the
commencing point; thence due south by a right line to the
commencing point.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waipukurau District at Waipukurau:

No. 52 State highway (Waipukurau-Masterton via Poranga-
hau): from a point 50 metres measured southerly, generally,
along the said highway from Lakeview Road to a point 600
metres measured southerly, generally, along the said highway
from Lakeview Road.

Mount Herbert Road: from a point 100 metres measured
easterly, generally, along the said road from Gow Street to a
point 1450 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said
road from Gow Street.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waipukurau District at Waipukurau:

No. 2 State highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne):
from a point 50 metres measured westerly, generally, along the
said highway from Coughlan Road to a point 160 metres
measured westerly, generally, along the said highway from
Hatuma Road, and from a point 100 metres measured
northerly, generally, along the said highway from River
Terrace to the northern boundary of Waipukurau district.

State Forest Land Set Apart as a Recreation Area for Addition
to Taringatura Recreation Area—Southland Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 63A of the Forests Act 1949 (as sub-
stituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976),
the Minister of Forests hereby sets apart the land described
in the Schedule hereto as a recreation area for the purpose of
public recreation.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY

10.1551 hectares, being Section 501, Block XXXIII, Taringa-
tura Survey District, and shown on plan S168/13, deposited
in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at
Wellington. (S.O. 8391).

been granted an exemption from the provisions of section 6
of the Meat Act 1964 requiring the Inangahua County, as
from time to time constituted, to be an inspected meat area.

Revocation of Declaration of Infected Area Forest Disease
Control Regulations 1967

PURSUANT to regulation 7 of the Forest Disease Control
Regulations 1967, I, George Michael O’Neill, Director-General
of Forests, hereby revoke the declaration of an infected area
published in New Zealand Gazette, on 11 June 1981, p. 1625.

NOTES

  1. This revokes the declaration of an area within Whanga-
    rei County as an area infected by “Puhi Puhi Needle Cast”,
    published in New Zealand Herald, Auckland Star and Northern
    Advocate on 27, 28 and 29 May 1981.

  2. The revocation takes effect immediately.

  3. For further information contact the Conservator of
    Forests, New Zealand Forest Service, Auckland.

in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at
Wellington.

Approval of Sirens

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic
Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby
approves, for the purposes of subclause (5) of regulation 9,
subclause (11) of regulation 21, subclause (3) of regulation
24, and subclauses (3) and (4) of regulation 69 of the said
regulations, sirens of the make and type described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SIRENS manufactured by Audio Communications Ltd., Auck-
land, bearing the model designation E S 2 or E S 2 PA
(provided they are operated in the “warble” mode).
