Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land in Block XIV, Hamilton Survey District, Waipa County

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 16th day of July 1981.

GATT Code on Technical Barriers to Trade—Draft Regulations

PURSUANT to Article 2 of the GATT Code on Technical Barriers to Trade notice is hereby given that the following regulations are proposed:

Anthrax Prevention Regulations 1981

These proposed regulations, which will replace the Anthrax Prevention Regulations 1951, provide for greater control of imported goods likely to convey anthrax.

All persons who may be affected by the enactment of the proposed regulations and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the national inquiry point.

The closing date for the receipt of comment is the 3rd day of September 1981.

The Traffic (Waipukurau District) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipukurau District) Notice No. 1, 1981.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Waipukurau District) Notice No. 1, 1978 dated the 11th day of October 1978† issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

Kairakau Beach Road: from its north-eastern end to Te Apiti Road.

SITUATED within Waipukurau District at Otane:
