Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 7) 1981

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 7) 1981.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1981.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the tariff items in the First Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

  3. The exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notice shown in the Second Schedule, is hereby withdrawn.

Reservation of Land

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for local purpose (site for a community centre).

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—RIVERTON BOROUGH

2833 square metres, more or less, being Section 29, Block III, Town of Riverton, situated in Block VI, Jacobs River Hundred. All New Zealand Gazette, 1981, page 95. S.O. Plan 9997.

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scientific purposes.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT—SOUTHLAND COUNTY

21.4483 hectares, more or less, being Section 1142, Block XXXVI, and Sections 1143 and 1144, Block XLV, Hokonui Survey District. Part certificates of title 124/124 Ltd., 188/73, 190/11 Ltd., and 190/136 Ltd. S.O. Plan 8068.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 5 December 1980 and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 146, 18 December 1980, page 4062, and that notice is hereby cancelled.
