Appointing a Member and Deputy Members of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority

DAVID BEATTIE, Governor-General

PURSUANT to sections 5 and 10 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, on the advice of the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoint:

Robert Dugald McKenzie of Invercargill, farmer, representing the New Zealand Catchment Authorities Association, as a member of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority, and Ewen Allan Cameron of Mauriceville, farmer, as his deputy;

Colin Herbert Archer of Wellington, Secretary of the Municipal Association of New Zealand Incorporated, as the deputy of Neil Albert Algar, a member of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority;

John Tennent Baxter Aitchison of Levin, farmer, as the deputy of Allan McCready, a member of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority;

Hugh Wilson Hayward of Ngatea, farmer, as the deputy of Malcolm James Conway, a member of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority, and

Keith Macpherson Dunning of Wellington, engineer, as the deputy of Maxwell Stuart Carrie, a member of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority.

to be a member and deputy members of the National Water and Soil Conservation Authority from and after the date of this appointment.

Amending an Order in Council Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Wellington

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council directing the sale of land in the City of Wellington, dated the 3rd day of November 1980, No. 133, at page 3313 by omitting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following Schedule.

Coroner Appointed

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Coroners Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint James Thomas Hodgson, Esquire, barrister and solicitor of Opotiki, to be a coroner for New Zealand vice Norman Francis Smith resigned.
