The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 1, 1981.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 3 1977, dated the 17th day of June 1977† issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga County at Paengaroa:

Blacks Road: from Old Coach Road to a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along Blacks Road from Conway Road.

Conway Road.

Old Coach Road: from No. 33 State Highway (Te Ngae-Paengaroa) to a point 100 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Sunset Drive.

Sunset Drive.

Wilson Road: from Old Coach Road to a point 300 metres measured northerly, generally, along Wilson Road from Hall Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Tauranga County at Paengaroa:

No. 33 State Highway (Te Ngae-Paengaroa): from a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Sunset Drive to a point 40 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Hodges Road.

The Traffic (Golden Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1981

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Golden Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1981.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Golden Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1968, dated the 18th day of November 1968† and the Traffic (Golden Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1979, dated the 25th day of October 1979‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, are hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Golden Bay County at Takaka and Motupipi:

No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood): from a point 160 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Motupipi Road to a point 360 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Factory Road.

Edinburgh Street.

Factory Road: from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood) to a point 120 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from the said State Highway.

Hiawatha Lane.

Lindsays-Clifton Road: from a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Packards Road to Takaka-Tarakohe Road.

Motupipi Road: from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood) to a point 200 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from the said State Highway.

Rototai Road: from Factory Road to a point 640 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Factory Road.

Takaka-Tarakohe Road: from Lindsays-Clifton Road to a point 800 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road, and from Lindsays-Clifton Road to a point 220 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road.

Te Kakau Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Golden Bay County at Takaka:

Factory Road: from a point 120 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood) to Motupipi Road.

Motupipi Road: from a point 200 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood) to Factory Road.

Sun Belt Crescent.

Takaka-Tarakohe Road: from Motupipi Road to a point 350 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Sun Belt Crescent.

Consenting to the Assignment of a Licence to Erect and Use Electric Lines and Amending the Licence

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968 the Minister of Energy hereby assigns to Waitaki N.Z. Refrigerating Ltd., a licence dated 19 February 1971, authorising the South Otago Freezing Co. Ltd. of Balclutha to erect and use electric lines (Gazette No. 14, 25 February 1971, page 302). In addition the licence is hereby amended by deleting the current Schedule and substituting the following:

SCHEDULE

ELECTRIC lines crossing Riverbank Road generally in an easterly direction to the licensee’s (a) water treatment plant, and (b) water wells, all being situated in Block XXII, Clutha Survey District, as shown on the plan marked NZE 991 and (c) electric lines crossing the Owaka-Katea Road generally in an easterly direction to the licensee’s pumphouse being situated in Block IX, Glenmore Survey District, as shown on plan marked NZE 990, the said plans being deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Ministry of Energy, at Wellington.
