A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable
Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block V, Waipukurau
Survey District, described as follows:

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable
Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a
quarry, and shall vest in the Cook County Council as from
the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect from and after the 29th day of
January 1981.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 16.2770 hectares, situated
in Blocks IV and VIII, Waingaroma Survey District, being
part Lot 2, D.P. 1104; as shown on plan S.O. 7036, lodged
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, and thereon
marked A.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 15th day of January 1981.

State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park for Addition
to Coromandel State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 63a (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as
substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act
1976), I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the
State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State
forest park which shall hereby form part of the Coromandel
State Forest Park.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—THAMES-COROMANDEL
DISTRICT
3.3900 hectares, approximately, being Sections 1 to 19, Town
of Broken Hills, situated in Block VI, Tairua Survey District
(S.O. Plan 11032) as shown on plan T12/2, deposited in the
Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

The Electoral Main Rolls Closing Order 1981

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of
January 1981
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 61 (2) (a) of the Electoral Act 1956,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
-
Title—This order may be cited as the Electoral Main
Rolls Closing Order 1981. -
Date for closing of main rolls—The main roll for every
General electoral district and for every Maori electoral
district shall close on the 2nd day of February 1981.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general
effect.
As part of the roll revision exercise this order closes, as at the 2nd day
of February 1981, the main rolls for all electoral districts. This enables
the main rolls to be printed and published as at that date. They will then
be available to the public for checking.
The making of this order does not preclude the making of a subsequent
order later in 1981 closer to the date of the expiration of the present
Parliament.
Appointing Member of the Quantity Surveyors Registration
Board
PURSUANT to section 3 (2) (b) of the Quantity Surveyors Act
1968, the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoints
John Raymond Robinson of Wellington, public servant,
to be a member of the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board
for a term of 2 years commencing on the date of this appointment.

Elizabeth the Second Arts Council of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 3 (2) of the Queen Elizabeth the Second
Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, the Minister for the
Arts has appointed:
Joan Grace Evelyn Kerr
to be Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts
Council of New Zealand for a term of office expiring
31 March 1983, and has appointed also:
David Rendel Kingston Gascoigne; and
Eva Poole
to be members of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts
Council of New Zealand for a term of office also expiring
31 March 1983.
