State Forest Land Set Apart as a State Forest Park to be Known as Victoria State Forest Park—Westland Conservancy

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 63b (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedules hereto as State forest park to be known as Victoria State Forest Park.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—INANGAHUA AND WAIMEA COUNTIES

170,000 hectares, more or less, being part of Maruia State Forest No. 53, all of Waitahu State Forest No. 92, all of Inangahua East State Forest No. 130, all of Hukawai State Forest No. 132, and part of Tawhai State Forest No. 194, as shown on plans L29/1, L30/2, L31/3, and M30/2, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—GREY COUNTY

31,100 hectares, more or less, being all of Pohaturoa State Forest No. 28, and all of Waihoke State Forest No. 29, as shown on plan L31/2, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 63b (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Kaimanawa State Forest Park.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—TAUPO COUNTY

1402.8280 hectares, more or less, being part 1B, Rangipo-Waiu Block, situated in Blocks VI, VII, X, and XI, Kaimanawa Survey District; part Subdivision 1 of Run 1, situated in Blocks VII, X, XI, and XII, Kaimanawa Survey District; part 2B2, Rangipo-Waiu Block, situated in Block XII, Kaimanawa Survey District; part 3B1, Kaimanawa Block, situated in Block XII, Kaimanawa Survey District, and Block IX, Mangamaire Survey District; shown on plans N122/3 and 4, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington. CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—MALVERN COUNTY

4.6275 hectares, more or less, being Rural Section 40755, Block V, Grasmere Survey District, and Rural Section 40756, Block IX, Grasmere Survey District, and shown on plan S66/13, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington (S.O. 14235).

PURSUANT to section 59 of the Defence Act 1971, the Minister of Defence hereby approves the following appointments, transfers, resignations, cancellations, relinquishments, promotions, extensions and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Cadet Forces:

The following personnel are appointed to a cadet commission in the rank and with seniority from the dates shown:

Robert Miles Carter, Lieutenant, with effect 3 February 1981, seniority from 1 October 1980.

Geoffrey Louis Clareburt, Lieutenant, with effect 2 December 1980, seniority from 1 October 1980.

Lieutenant Edward John MacNamara, is appointed Unit Commander, Hato Petera College, with effect 1 December 1980.

Captain John Eric Bray, is appointed Unit Commander, Bayfield High School, with effect 1 April 1981.
