Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Napier
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949
and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister
of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to
that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes
from and after the 31st day of March 1981.

Declaring Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Castlecliff
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act
1949 and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agree-
ment to that effect having been entered into, the land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes,
from and after the 11th day of May 1981.

Electric Lines Licence—Licensing Donald Mount Cook Burnett
to Erect and use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy
hereby licences Donald Mount Cook Burnett of Lake Pukaki,
subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up,
place and use the electric lines described in the Schedule
hereto.
CONDITIONS
-
This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical
Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations
1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations
made in amendment of or in substitution for any of
those regulations. -
The systems of supply shall be as described in para-
graph (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
1976, and shall be an alternating current system. -
This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the 31st day of March 1996.
SCHEDULE
An underground line leading from the power house to
supply a hut, a large shed, and a residence.
All being situated in Jollie Survey District in the County
of Mackenzie, as shown on the plan marked NZE 1017,
deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the
Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

The Traffic (Mount Maunganui Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.
N O T I C E
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mount Maunga-
nui Borough) Notice No. 1, 1981. -
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52
of the Transport Act 1962. -
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pur-
suant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*. -
The Traffic (Mount Maunganui Borough) Notice No. 1,
1972, dated the 23rd day of November 1972†, issued pursuant
to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A
of the Traffic Regulations 1956 which relates to roads situated
within Mount Maunganui Borough, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Mount Maunganui Borough:
No. 29 State Highway (Mount Maunganui-Piarere): from
Maunganui Road to the southern borough boundary.
Maunganui Road: from Kupe Street to No. 29 State High-
way (Mount Maunganui-Piarere).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Mount Maunganui Borough:
No. 29 State Highway (Mount Maunganui-Piarere): from
Maunganui Road to a point 120 metres measured south-
easterly generally along the said State Highway from Exeter
Road.
Maunganui Road: from Kupe Street to No. 29 State High-
way (Mount Maunganui-Piarere).
