Approval of Inclusion on Panel for the Purposes of the Equal Opportunities Tribunal
PURSUANT to section 47 (4) of the Human Rights Commission Act 177, I, James Kenneth McLay, hereby approve the inclusion on the panel of persons who may be appointed pursuant to section 47 (1) of that Act (which relates to the constitution of the Equal Opportunities Tribunal) of:
Marjorie Mona Bailey, managing director, of Auckland.

Pharmacy Training Committee Notice 1981
PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
N O T I C E
-
This notice may be cited as the Pharmacy Training Committee Notice 1981.

(1) There shall be an Industrial Training Board for Pharmacy, which shall be known as the Pharmacy Training Committee and shall comprise the following members:
(a) Four members, no more than 3 of whom may be owners or part owners in a pharmacy, appointed by the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand.
(b) One member appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Vocational Training Council.
(c) One member appointed by the Director-General of Education.
(2) In addition to the members specified in subclause (1) of this clause, the Committee may co-opt not more than two additional members.
- (1) The appointed members shall hold office for a period of 3 years, but may from time to time be reappointed.
(2) Any co-opted members shall hold office during the pleasure of the Committee for a period not exceeding 3 years, but may if eligible be reappointed.
(3) If any member dies or resigns his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Committee or the Chairman or the Secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from the meetings of the Committee for three consecutive meetings, or while holding office becomes for any reason ineligible to remain a member, the casual vacancy so created shall be filled as soon as practicable thereafter by the appointment of a member in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed, and the member appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the residue of the term of office of the member whom he replaces.
(4) Unless he sooner vacates his office every appointed member of the Committee shall continue in office until his successor comes into office.
(5) The powers of the Committee shall not be affected by any vacancy in the membership thereof.
- (1) Deputy members may be appointed in the same manner as appointed members, to be the deputy of a member and act in the event of the absence of the member from any meeting of the Committee.
Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 3) 1981
PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 3) 1981.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1981.
- Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

The Funeral Service Training Committee Notice 1981
PURSUANT to section 15A of the Vocational Training Council Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
N O T I C E

This notice may be cited as The Funeral Service Training Committee Notice 1981.

There shall be an Industrial Training Board for funeral directing and embalming which shall be known as The Funeral Service Training Committee and shall comprise the following members:
(a) Two members appointed by the Funeral Directors Association of New Zealand (Inc.).
(b) Two members appointed by the New Zealand Embalmers Association (Inc.).
(c) One member appointed by the Director-General of Education.
(d) One member appointed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Vocational Training Council.
- (1) The appointed members shall hold office for a period of 3 years, but may from time to time be reappointed.
(2) If any member dies or resigns his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Committee or the Chairman or the Secretary thereof, or is absent without leave from the meetings of the Committee for 3 consecutive meetings, or while holding office becomes for any reason ineligible to remain a member, the casual vacancy so created shall be filled as soon as practicable thereafter by the appointment of a member in the manner which the vacating member was appointed, and the member appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office for the residue of the term of office of the member whom he replaces.
